Bring colleagues into your store and control exactly what each person can do. Team management lives in Settings > Team, which has three sub-tabs: Members, Vendors, and Invites.
Team members are on the Starter plan. On the Free plan, Settings > Team shows an upgrade prompt instead of letting you invite teammates. See Plans and credits.

Invite a teammate

1

Open the invite dialog

Go to Settings > Team and select Invite. The Invite a teammate dialog opens.
2

Enter their email and pick a role

Type the person’s email address and choose Admin or Support. Each role shows a plain-language summary of what it grants. Only the store owner can grant Admin.
3

Send the invite

Select Send invite. TokenSupply emails an accept link to the person. The dialog then shows an Invite link you can copy and share directly.
An invite is tied to the email address it was sent to. The person must sign in (or create an account) with that same email to accept it. If they open the link while signed in as someone else, they see a Wrong account screen and need to switch accounts first. Invited people appear on the Invites sub-tab until they accept. Vendors are invited separately from the Vendors page, because they sign in to their own Vendor Portal. Once they join, they show on the Vendors sub-tab.

The built-in roles

The person who created the store. The owner has full access, including billing, team, and settings, and can transfer ownership or delete the store. There is exactly one owner at a time.
Manages the whole store: products, orders, integrations, billing, and team. Only the owner can grant the Admin role.
Handles day-to-day operations: products, orders, tickets, customers, and invoices. No billing, integrations, or team management.
Works in the Vendor Portal on assigned purchase orders, offers, and tickets. Vendors are invited from the Vendors page, not the Team tab.
Roles are set per store. If you belong to more than one store, you can be an Admin in one and Support in another.

Custom roles

When the built-in roles do not fit, give a teammate a custom role with per-area permissions. Custom is not offered when you send an invite yet, so invite the person with a built-in role first, then open the menu on their row in the Members sub-tab, select Edit role & permissions, and choose Custom. For each area of the store you set one of three levels:
  • None: the person cannot see the area.
  • View: the person can see it but not change anything.
  • Manage: the person can see and change it.
The areas you can set are Products, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Vendors, Customers, Invoices, Tickets, Orders, Analytics, Integrations, Sales Channel, Import Data, Settings, Billing & Plans, and Audit Log. Integrations, Sales Channel, Settings, Billing & Plans, and Audit Log are marked Owner-sensitive area, so grant those deliberately.
Fill in Save as a reusable role (optional) to keep a set of permissions you use often, so you can assign it to other teammates without rebuilding it. Editing a saved role updates everyone assigned to it.

Change a teammate’s role

Open the menu on a member’s row in the Members sub-tab and select Edit role & permissions. Pick a new role or adjust their permissions, then select Save changes. Changes take effect immediately. Only the owner can grant Admin, and the system prevents changes that would leave the store without an owner.

Transfer ownership

The owner can hand the store to another team member.
1

Open Manage store

Go to Settings > General and select Manage store at the bottom of the page.
2

Pick the new owner

Under Transfer ownership, choose a teammate in New owner. If no one is listed, invite a team member first.
3

Confirm

Select Transfer ownership and confirm.
Transferring ownership is a big step. The person you choose becomes the owner, and you are demoted to Admin and immediately lose owner-only powers, including deleting the store and transferring it again. Only the new owner can transfer it back.
