Every store is its own world
When you do anything in the app, you are always working inside one store at a time. That store has its own catalog, its own stock of keys, its own orders, and its own team. Nothing you do in one store can be seen from another.This separation is the foundation of the whole platform. Behind the scenes, every piece of data is stamped with the store it belongs to, and the app only ever shows you data for the store you are currently in.
One account, several stores
Your account is not the same thing as a store. One account can own several stores and can also be invited to join stores owned by other people. You might run two different brands, or help a partner manage their store, all from a single sign-in.1

You create a store yourself, or you accept an invite to join someone else’s.

You switch between them
The store menu in the top bar lets you move from one store to another, and Select a store lists every store you belong to. Everything on screen changes to match the store you picked.

Your role can differ per store
Roles are set per store. You might be the owner of one store and a support teammate in another. Your permissions match your role in whichever store you are in.
Each store has its own web address
Every store gets its own public web address, a subdomain, that is unique to it. This is where your storefront and your buyers’ delivery pages live. It keeps your public presence tied to your store and separate from the admin app you sign in to. The address comes from your store’s handle, which is managed in Settings > Domain alongside any custom domains. If you want your store to appear on a domain you already own, you can add a custom domain and point it at your store. Custom domains are on the Growth plan.Deleting a store
The store owner can delete a store. It is archived immediately and stops working everywhere, but it is not gone straight away: for 30 days the owner can restore it from Select a store. After that it can no longer be restored and drops out of your store list. See Delete a store.Create your store
